I've watched it twice today, and like millions out there I'm thinking: how could the world have let this happen?

It's so hard to believe that these lives are unfolding at the same time as our little comfortable lives.

Chernobyl Legacy
by Paul Fusco
"On April 26th, 1986, Chernobyl's Reactor No. 4 unleashed a thoroughly modern plague that emptied cities, condemned entire regions, and seeped invisibly into the bodies of those exposed to its destructive presence.Photographer Paul Fusco faces the dark legacy of Chernobyl, focusing on the horrifying human consequences of the event that is now 20 years in the past."

It's really awful.. they show an occasional documentary in Sweden every now and then about the tragedy but it seems we have all forgotten about the children of Chernobyl, and moved on swiftly with a cup of coffee in our hands.
